Job description
Gamecan is looking for a 3D Artist to handle the creation of 3D assets for our upcoming multiplayer title. You thrive on collaboration and report to the Art Director to work as a team towards the monthly content pushes and milestones. You have a natural curiosity for all parts of the creative pipeline, and invest time improving your skills.
Qualifications
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D modeling and texturing projects
- Strong high-poly and low-poly modeling skills, TrimSheets, UV mapping, and baking.
- Great Knowledge of Substance Painter/Photoshop, and 3d software of your choice where you can work with low poly models and .fbx files (preferably Maya, 3D Max or Blender)
- Being able to closely adapt to a specific art style. A keen eye for shape, proportions, composition, and detail.
- Ability to work based on technical documents and drawings.
- Works independently and actively communicates with our team as needed Deliver results on time
Good to have
- Additional knowledge of 3D software packages like Maya, ZBrush, Marmoset Toolbag (Baking), and Unreal Engine.
- Excellent knowledge of how to create trim sheets and mid-poly modeling workflows.
- Experience or base knowledge of scripting languages, shader materials, and in-game asset management is a plus.
