Gamecan is looking for an experienced Unreal Engine Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our team and help us create our new IP.
As a senior member, you will have the opportunity to bring the design vision to life by implementing and maintaining features that will shape the future of our game.
You will work in close collaboration with the team leads and the rest of the team, to deliver a truly unparalleled gameplay experience.
At least 5+ years of experience in the production of games for consoles and PC
At least one shipped project from start to finish as a Gameplay Programmer
Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 & 5
Experience working on multiplayer games
Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect game systems and tools
Strong math skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle any challenge
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong debugging and optimization skills
A team-player attitude and willingness to collaborate with designers, artists, and other engineers
A keen sense of what makes gameplay systems fun
Implement innovative and robust multiplayer gameplay features using Unreal Engine
Collaborate with other departments to deliver an exceptional gameplay experience
Optimize gameplay systems for top-notch performance and scalability
Communicate effectively with other programmers, mentoring junior members of the team and contributing to constant team growth
Drive technical and architectural decisions and maintain a high-quality codebase ensuring best practices
Document your work to share knowledge on how to use the new systems and functionalities
